Overview

The project involved developing a Supabase backend, engineering OpenAI prompts, creating UI/UX designs and implementing them with ReactNative frontend. The landing page was completed on Next.

Key Features

• AI Images: Unique AI-generated images per story.
• TTS: Audio story narrations.
• Stories & Heroes: Engaging AI-generated stories and heroes.
• Settings: Configurable settings and multi-language support.
• Landing: Landing page on NextJS.

Technologies Used

• ReactNative: Single codebase for the Android and iOS apps.
• OpenAI: For text and image generation.
• Supabase: Postgres databases and server functions.
• Revenuecat: For managing subscriptions.

Challenges and Learnings

A major challenge for me as a front-end dev was developing and implementing the backend architecture. Other challenges were integrating the OpenAI and TTS services and building solid image and text AI prompts. It was a tremendous learning opportunity in full-stack development and I have learned a ton over the complete project cycle.

Outcome

The project has been successfully launched on GooglePlay and the landing page deployed. The next milestone is AppStore publishing.
