Development of a cross-platform trust escrow service using Capacitor Ionic (web + mobile) for the US market. Communication with the Ruby backend via REST apis. Managing GooglePlay and AppStore submissions.
- Capacitor: A solution that enables cross-platform development for Web, Android and iOS with a single codebase.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging: For managing push notifications.
- Ionic: A UI component library tailored for use with Capacitor.
- Redux: For robust state management.
It was challenging to develop reusable and bug-free features for all platforms at once, but with rigorous QA, we polished the component library to work flawlessly on Web, Android and iOS.
On the project, I managed the complete cycle of mobile app building, testing and submitting to both GooglePlay and AppStore.
Mobile optimizations, Capacitor plugins, and store submissions were all a great learning experience on the project.
The project scope was delivered within the deadlines and the system was approved by both AppStore and GooglePlay. The features implemented ranged from fee calculators to assignment creation forms.
